During the Revolution a lot of persons only depended of the rural wage and others, whose wage was paid with merchandise, were be like bondsman. Persons, who wanted up of social class, had to get married for interest with high class people, or join to economic alliances. a military career or priesthood were options to get up into classes. Another way was to get money from an inheritance or testament. The knowledge required for the need of the country were also a way to up, people whose work experience was in technical mechanisms were achieving good jobs.
Some parents forced to their children to do a military career or take the priesthood, because these were mobility mechanisms for people without talent to make something better. But after the Revolution, began to expropriate land, the industrialization was formed and schools were built. These projects provided opportunities for people who wanted to use them to get greater social mobility without depend of their parents or inheritances.
During the Revolution you had to get married with someone from a higher level in order to get up into classes, just like in the Colonia.
In the Colonia there were less opportunities for the poor people than in the Revolution, because of the classification of people.
The tone of the skin was more important in the Colonia, than in the Revolution, because in the Revolution was more important the kind of job you had.
